There was a very embarrassing and telling moment on Faux News Network a couple weeks ago when Mara Liasson was in a talking heads foursome with Brit Hume and a couple of others. Liasson glibbly mentioned Reagan's hair coloring and the conversation screeched to a halt as Brit Hume (as I recall, it could have been one of their other "hosts") reprimanded her and said "we never say that". It was an ugly moment when the curtain was raised on the despicable charade that passes for "news" reportage came into clear view. Liasson got off-script, into the forbidden truth zone and into really hot water.
