So far the Bush team hasn't run a particularly competent campaign. First they let the question of Bush being AWOL get a life of it's own. Then they come out with dumb-ass economic statements that they have to back away from like: it's good for America to outsource jobs and that the economy is going to add 3 M jobs in the next 10 months. If Bush doesn't debate Kerry he's going to look like a coward - something the Republicans can ill afford given Kerry's Vietnam hero status.

"Live Shot" is a compliment. Means JK is smart. It means he knows how to get TV air time without having to go out and raise corporate special interest money to pay for it. Against the king of special interest money Bush, he's going to need all the free air time he can get. Good thing he knows how to get it. Bush knows how to get free air time too. Used to be every speech he made was covered live, at least buy Fox News. In many of those speeches he openly lied to Americans an the world. Lately Bush has been hiding out a bit, trying not to make gaffes. Besides, he doesn't have anything to say. Too late for new ideas and all his old ones have failed us.
