OT: Why is the total put to call ratio all the way down at 0.59 this morning?

How come the VIX/VXO are not running higher? I want to see readings near 18 before I am going long.

investorshub.com

We may try to rally soon but there is not enough fear and too much certainty that the market will move higher still priced in right now.

From Briefing.com: Sector Watch: Semiconductor HOLDRs - SMH --- Technical --

Sector is one of the worst performing groups again on the downside with the Semi HOLDRs (SMH 40.47 -2.6%) probing and thus far holding near support at its Feb low of 40.40. Tech sectors in general are pacing the way lower today with the Software HOLDRS (SWH 36.90) already slipping below its early Feb low of 37.

I don't think it's safe to go long just yet but I am sure tempted to buy something.

OT: yep but that is this crazy market at work lately. Seems we are testing the lows from 2 weeks ago 2014 area on Nasdaq and 1140 on S&P. We don't hold 1125 next stop for sp500. Good luck with your trades.
