I deemed it quite feasible, however, for a USAF fighter to shoot down a slouching airliner while over a thinly populated area... Granted, there're always eyewitnesses on the ground who'll glimpse all the action --that's what the Justice Dept's martial laws have been issued for. The eyewitnesses, the journalists, the police officers,... actually everybody along the "info chain" who might blab off the truth has been dealt with: they were all told by the US gov to button up or else.... there're still a few empty cells in Guantanamo <g> Gus
