Who is ignorant? Activist courts can be trumped by Constitutional Amendments.

Activist judges will always try to bend it, but hoepfully the consent of the governed will triumph.

Thanks, cynndwllr. You said it a lot better than I did.

This is a subject that I don't think is properly taught in our schools. I think they spend more time on the history, and not enough on the whys and hows. Unfortunately, there are a lot of subjects that are taught by rote and not in any depth.
