Well Darfot, there is a book for everything.

But here's the thing, your original post implied the standard line of thinking *today* is that a consumer such as myself would most likely prefer japanese over american models. I'm saying that hasn't been true for years. In 1985 did consumers prefer japanese- absolutely! Now? Its all a model by model basis.

In other words japan copied US ingenuity again. Wake me up when Japan *invents* a new model that really excites the consumer the way the honda prelude did in the early 80s. Yes it could happen, it has before, but it is rare.
