>>>Please show how either Clinton or Bush caused the offshoring jobs "crisis." It's been going on forever <<<<

Democratic front runner John Kerry told TIME. "During Clinton, we had 23 million jobs created. That's almost 3 million a year. Under Bush, we've lost 3 million in three years."

The reason offshoring didn't hurt under clinton, and now it DOES, is because of some structural changes that need to be addressed. The fact that the Bush economic team clearly didn't see this jobs crisis coming is enough of a reason to dump him right there. It was obvious 2 years ago that the white house had better address this. They thought "jobs were a lagging indicator".

In the HIGHLY UNLIKELY event that we get 2 consecutive months of 250K/mo jobs created prior to the election, a quick glance at the income tax receipts will tell the real story that any job with any meaningful IP attached is leaving- en masse.

Good article on the matter,

Jobs and the Election
Can they find a good employment line?

TopCat,

Will it not be better if you make your points without loading them with personal attacks or snide remarks. Where she currently works is in no way pertinent to the discussion. Nor does it make any of her points less valid (even if one has a different POV).

Thanks
