Al Re... thought we were talking about what one can do to help reduce dependence on foreign (or domestic) fossil fuels?

We were, in the sense that electric solar panels, would be a preferable source of electricity to nuclear. I said solar would be a niche energy source, and AFAIK solar pool heaters, are a niche product.

Oops. I wish to rephrase that statement. I should have said, "Fifthly, costs/therm are far better for low temperature, high efficiency, high output systems.
