JF, The flood isn't the tough question. The hard one is who really killed Goliath? The Bible says David killed him. Then, later, it says Elhanan (2 Samuel 21:19), one of the Mighty Men, killed him. A much later edit says that Elhanan actually killed Goliath's brother. Sounds like David may have been trying to cover a bit of AWOL from Saul's National Guard with the Goliath story. <G>
