The Dems don't stand for anything, except whatever it takes to win elections.

What a dishonest statement. Nearly every initiative other than defense is a democratic creation. You can say that you disagree with the socially oriented programs of the democrats, but you are lying or completely uninformed if you make the blind statement you made above.

Al Re...They're angry at Nader only because he isn't being a "team player" in this game of politics.

I could be wrong, but AFAIK, Nader, Nader's only primary mission in life, has been to rail against the corporation. Until, 2000, the dems were content to let Nader rail, as an extremist position. Now the dems have moved to the far left with Kerry, and are trying to denounce Nader, so he abandons his position, to them. To which, Nader has replied, Not so fast. It isn't that Nader has changed. It is that dem. objectives, and policies, have changed.

being true doesn't win as many votes as it used to (or not?).

Sad but true, for both parties, although, I believe GW has been truer than the Dems. Just my opinion though.

Hmaly, And by opposing him, the Dems are achieving the direct opposite of what the Dems. want to stand for, which will be far more costly to the Dems in the end.

The Dems don't stand for anything, except whatever it takes to win elections. "Anything But Bush" is their cover for a lack of consensus on many issues. Some Democrats have even admitted this, wondering whether their party even stands a chance if it continues in this direction.

If you think the Dems don't stand for anything, then you are not listening very hard.

They're angry at Nader only because he isn't being a "team player" in this game of politics. If anything, Nader is truer to his ideas than most Democrats or Republicans, but these days, being true doesn't win as many votes as it used to (or not?).

They are angry at Nader for playing the silly game of spoiler and I think they have every reason to be angry. After all, Bush would not be in the WH if it weren't for Nader's last run.

BTW why are you so angry?

I'll admit that. And I was rooting for Bush in 2000.
