it is great for amd and for intel that intel is going forward with x86-64. It is somewhat strange to read on intel web page that x86-64 is intel's innovation, don't you think? What do you think intel's reaction would be if amd would announce that sse, sse2 and sse3 are all amd's innovations?
So Torvalds got a point here.....

there is nothing wrong from business perspective to give credit when credit is due but not to give a credit is completely wrong no matter how you look at it.....
