Bushies dont want Bush's record looked at all.
Except for the initial invasion of Afghanistan, he has nothing to boast about at all, not a single thing. Even his economic "growth" is strictly paid for by record over-spending and deficit to the moon.

Kerry's voting record is excellent except for a few mistakes. Every Senator who's ever lived makes a few mistakes. Kerry's record is close to stellar in the Senate. That includes voting for the biggest defense bill of all time and the Gramm-Rudmam-Hollings bill for fiscal conservatism.

The GOP is distorting JK's record now because they are desperate. For instance, they say JK is against death penalty for terroruists. Not true. After 9-11, he changed that stance. That is the only stance he has changed BTW.

Tonto, looking at Kerry's voting record where he voted against military systems implies that he is against the US and that he is not a patriot. Kerry is a military person. He understands military issues better than Bush does. So for Bush to make Kerry's voting record an issue is questioning his patriotism and his defending the country.

What does Bush know about defending the country? If Bush was a Senator in his place would he be qualified to even understand the pros and cons of different missile systems and vote based on his understanding? Heck no. Bush knows which brand of Scotch tastes better.

Come on tonto. Kerry has challenged Bush to come out and say that his voting record is a proof that he wanted to weaken the country and have the enemies take this country over. Bring it on. Say it. Don't chicken out. Let the Bush campaign come out and say that his voting record reflects his hate for this country. Come on. Say it.

Truth squad time for the RNC: They claim Kerry voted against all weapons systems we used in Iraq. Correction, Kerry has voted for the current defense budget and the ones before it.

In the 80s he was against Reagan's build up, and he now admits he was part wrong. On the other hand, Bush Sr. and Clinton both had to scale back the military budgets because of hude deficit military spending. Bush's defense budget is huge and there's a lot of pork and waste in it. Kerry will keep us strong but save us moneyt at the same time. He will trim that budget but not trim the effectiveness. He will also take good care of soldiers and vets. That is his priority.

Kerry is neither hawk nor dove. He wants to avoid war but he also knows how to be very-very tough and use military force correctly.
