I voted for Browne as well, and the Libertarian candidate (Nolan?) will probably be my first choice this time - Indiana usually is solidly Republican in Presidential contests, so a third party candidate isn't much of a threat to anyone.

My fiance likes Nader, despite the fact that she is a conservative Catholic... she, like many Americans, pulls for the underdog despite the ideological differences. She will probably vote for Bush, or maybe Nader, but definitely not Kerry or Edwards. Ideology doesn't motivate her, or other swing voters. What does is a cluster of attitudes, beliefs, policies, and observed personality traits. Because this approach to selecting a President is murky and difficult to articulate or measure, every four years the media ponder "the mystery of the swing voter". Most journalists just don't understand.
