Ted Re...The Dems are attacking Nader and not his policies because they fear his presidential run will act as a spoiler like in 2000 and give Bush the election once again when he doesn't deserve to win.

That is exactly my point. You dems. first blamed the USSC, then the Fl voters, and now Nader, for your loss in 2000; and here you are it again, afraid the same will happen in 04. Thats the main reason you are dissing Ralph, not because you disagree with his policies. You claim to be the party of the intelligensia, and inclusion, and here you have turned into the party of stupid petty jealousies, and exclusion. Nader had it right, when he said "Al cost Al the election." If you lose this time, you will once again have only yourself to blame again.

I am not concerned. I have every confidence this election is winnable by the Dems. Some people are frustrated with Nader's entry into the race. I was only trying to refute your statement that the Dems were attacking Nader's policies.....instead, I pointed out they are attacking the man and his decision to run.

Again, read carefully............I am intentionally repeating.....I am not worried that Nader will give Bush the election. I can see how some might think that way but I am not one of them.

Americans are finally seeing Bush and his cohorts for whom they are. That will do more damage to Bush than Nader's entry into the race will do to the Dems IMO.
