Ted, I got sidetracked with the whole anti-Semitism thing. Anyway ... What started this discussion is that you complained that I should not criticize Gibson. Who said you shouldn't criticize Gibson? If your interpretation of the Gospels doesn't jive with Gibson's, who am I to tell you otherwise? My response........why is it necessary to watch Jesus flayed so badly by a whip that the bodily fluids and skin are seen as they escape his body? I have a feeling you don't understand the significance of Jesus' death on the cross. But let me put it to you another way. Ask yourself why it was necessary for Steven Spielberg to show the gruesome imagery in Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan. Tenchusatsu
