It's facinating to see how some people justify their unjustifiable stances. This whole nature argument by JP is the sort of desperate grasping that is indicative of the religious rightists. JP employs comical logic along the same lines as the 'evolution science'; a complete denial of all facts and logic that might interfere with their dogma.

Pretty soon we're gonna hear how the earth revolves around the sun...

Nature does not require animals to live as married couples because their offspring share their DNA.

You are trying to confuse yourself once again-- with lies. Come baaack to reality.

I never claimed nature required anything. Clearly humans live contrary to nature all the time, claiming themselves homosexuals and abandoning their mates (and with disastrous results). That is not the issue and never has been.

Nature contains patterns and structure. This includes patterns of identity. Those who are most aware of the pattern that fundamentally defines them have a natural right to live in accord with that pattern, enjoying what they most fundamentally are in nature. No one has the right to force them to accept or support what in nature they are NOT.

That is the issue.
