Hi David,

I got a similar message at another site after having installed a series of McAfee products. I think the offending product was probably something called Privacy Service, which supposedly provides a range of "protection" against ad-ware, cookies, pornography, etcetera. It runs in combination with their Virus Scan, Personal Firewall+ and SpamKiller. The Privacy software (and the SpamKiller) were so intrusive that I ended up uninstalling both products, and now run only the Firewall and the Virus Scan.

I also remember setting up something under Web Washer that gave a similar error message on sites that require cookies.

So, you might want to check with the new user and find out if s/he's running any 3rd-party software for protection or privacy purposes. Other products (maybe Norton or Net Nanny) might be the source of the error.

KJC

Just a guess but I've had problems because I use high security. I add to Trusted Sites under Internet Options Security - the specific site.
