Vets support Kerry in HUGE numbers. The only ones who hate Kerry are the Ted Sampley types who also call McCain a traitor and think we should have stayed in Nam cutting off more ears. Every Nam vet I know highly respects Kerry. Also, Kerry only protested for a short time. He left that VVATW rather quickly and moved into the system to try and change things through the normal channels. Kerry was 100% right about that war, as he was about ths Iraq War. Now let's make sure Iraq doesn't turn into another Nam. The Vietnam War almost brought the US down. Poor planning and dishonesty were the main reasons. Same as Iraq.

Kerry beat General Clark amongst veterans and military families. Look at these figures from New Mexico.

Just over four in 10 voters were from military households; they did more for the lieutenant than for the general. Kerry won 39 percent, Dean 21 percent, Clark 15 percent. (Fifteen percent were themselves veterans; the numbers were about the same 36-22-16).

* So much for Ted Sampley's libelous claims that Vets hate Kerry
