If the Rand is bottoming as it seems, Wasn't the strength of the Rand problematic for the SA miners ? What don't I understand here ?

Re ZAR agreed. Roffey opined some months ago he thought the ZAR would turn into the one of the world's weakest currencies over the course of this year. To finish he also stated the JSE would be the best place to be, bar none. He did not elucidate. Just posted a new Roffey article. Most everyone knows what I think of Roffey, although his timing has not been perfect lately. But then no one has. Most interesting thing of late to me is that several analysts have turned cheek and now becoming bear. Last year on that other board something similar happened, and it became such an obvious contrarian sign .... rather quickly imho. When Slider posted an EW (not his own) that the 5th was done and the first primary over I knew it was time to head in deeper. Funny thing ... I saw a similar EW lately, some 100 plus points higher than the last 5th, which turned out to be the second B in a ABCXABC. My My. Hindsight is so beautiful. Will it be the same here? Chit I dunno, but I've plunked some mullah down to play my inkling. Capt'n Hook had some interesting charts on Goldseek. He also does decent stuff imo. Least you can not accuse him of NOT backing up his claims. I saw some shit by Palha the other day ... so Palha .... or whatever his name is just went off my reading list. gold-eagle.com
