Kerry and Edwards agree on everything. They each have their strengths. Edwards is prettier and southern, a common man made good. Kerry is a war hero and strong, experienced, honest leader. What Kerry has that Edwards doesn't is the ability to beat Bush on defense and foreign policy. That is absolutely necessary to beat Bush. Edwards sees the new California poll showing him 34% behind. He knows he's probably running for VP here. I doubt any debate between them would be acrimonious.
