Since I am a much better driver than my husband, I'd rather be the one doing the driving. He tailgates too much and lets other drivers influence his mood way too often. I'm a much more defensive driver and I can handle the machines so well. If we go on long car drives we share the burden, but he makes me nervous in town. He almost always drives 10-15 miles over the speed limit.......which bugs the heck out of me. Speed limits are posted as they are for safety reasons. In fact all the rules of the road are there to protect drivers and their passengers. If only people understood that simple concept we'd have fewer traffic accidents. I'm looking forward to the day that autos have sensors that control speed and following distance. I should have been a race car driver.
