"nice to have a President with a backbone"

Backbone would be recognizing that everyone has a right to love whomever they choose and marry them if that's what they want. Pandering to the religious right is hardly a display of backbone. This is a president and administration more focused on taking away peoples' rights than protecting and respecting them.
