In answer to your question, people who are in their thirties, that grew up in my community recall corporations robbing pensions from older people, so we believe we have a better deal (thru our 401ks) than the older people that got nothing other than robbed pensions or Soc Sec (if they can even count on that). So, the issue isn't "where have you been all these years", but rather I'm more sensitive to the plight of workers, including older workers.

I completely agree with you that there is a huge disparity in health care (some older retires get paid corporate health care, while young people will not get this). And would also obviously agree with you that there's an age disparity in Soc Sec, unless the govt restructures it to allow for 4% to go to younger people (out of approximately 13% total SocSec = loosely 6.5%employee+6.5%employer payment to SS).

As far as your other question, I love working with engineers. The majority of those I talk with are in the USA. You continue to invalidate the overall innovative system we have in the USA.
