OT (142x 5,200,000) or (142 x 6,000,000 counting overallotment) should just about account for all of the cash. By the way, it was almost this very point that AMCC went awry. They had been doing 20 cents yearly eps on the same sales level as today.

SAN DIEGO, CA - JANUARY 13, 2000 - Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (AMCC) [Nasdaq: AMCC] today announced the public offering of 5,250,000 shares of common stock at $142 per share. All of the common stock offered is being sold by the Company.

The shares are being sold by an underwriting syndicate managed by Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation, Salomon Smith Barney Inc. and SG Cowen Securities Corporation. The Company also has granted to the underwriters of the public offering an option to purchase up to 752,271 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.
