But it's ok to wax warm and fuzzy over hetero sex. Didn't you know that? Why sex is serious enough to open up the constitution. I thought the ERA was a ridiculous reason to open up the constitution- but this has that beat by several miles. Who cares who puts whose genitals where, and who wants a government imprimatur on such putting (or petting)? I have to say I think our country is stark raving bonkers if it goes along with viewing this as a "priority". We certainly have issues that threaten our survival- a supply of clean air, clean water, access to health care, access to a safe food supply, protections from new harmful viruses and bacteria, global climate change, meteor impacts, nuclear war and nuclear terrorism, etc- but the protection of marriage?
