I'll be interested to see how it all plays out. I do think Kerry's Vietnam service will inoculate him from too much criticism over his subsequent anti-war stance.

After all Kerry has the medals to prove he was there. A Silver Star and three Purple Crosses. I did read an extreme argument that his injuries were minor and that he broke procedure in the Silver Star incident. What hogwash! Is Kerry somehow less brave because he only got injured a little? Sometimes 1/2 inch is the difference between a flesh wound and death! If nothing else he was waist deep in the sh%t in ‘Nam and he sure wasn't just sitting on his hands while there!

Kerry may have been anti-war but he earned the right to criticize.
