I have never heard of any sect being against it.....well maybe AS has an objection, but for different reasons...lol

Yes, it certainly does "become something new".

And, a much more appealing religion to the masses if Paradise is an option (rather then Ra's 'burning lakes of fire' for all... good & bad, upon death).

It also has the quite beneficial effect of encouraging 'good' behavior while still here on Earth --- the most significant effect of all.
