The "people power" is more likely to be with the fundamentalists. Who would want their country to fall into the hands of Americans (as that is how the reformists' agenda will be interpreted) especially now that the US is right next door?

Have you ever set foot in that region? Or even anywhere close to that region? Your ignorance of that area is overwhelming.
