they should better NOT mention the word 'capital'. if one looks at their own capital, one has the impression that it wouldn't take much of an upheaval to essentially wipe them out as it were. they are much more thinly capitalized than most banks, since they are not required to respect any rules on capital reserves. that said, the banks have a lot of off balance sheet stuff that would skew the picture if it were included.
