Ted Re....The people? Oh you mean the Congressional GOP As I recall, a lot of Dem. voted for the tax cuts also. Tax cuts in fact, are one of the tried and tested means of combatting a recession. Which is of course, the reason you are in favor of tax increases, so that if the people suffer enough under GW, then you boy might win the election. I would suggest, urging class warfare, and recessions, will work as well as Mondale's smart idea. Everybody knows there is no limit to the dems spending wishes, and after you are done pilfering the pockets of the rich, all of us are next. Poll after poll shows that people are opposed to tax cuts Yes, Mondale ran on that platform, in 1980. How well did that work out for you? when they cause deficits. Spending, and in the Dems case, gorging yourself on pork, and freebies, cause deficits. Control your spending, and you will eliminate deficits.
