Gordon, the issue as I understand is "seizing us with fear for political purposes." It is like once bitten twice shy. YOu definitely definitely need to be vigilant. BUt not have that be the only thing that Bush needs to be preoccupied with at the cost of creating job opportunities, etc. There is atime we get tired of just that.

So the issue is the politics of fear. I mean here was Clinton launching a big attack with missiles and we in the US went about our business the normal way and did not hear anything much about it. So that is why people (not just Democrats) are fed up with Bush because of his "boogey man" approach.
