Lizzie, I would agree that Bush is at a disadvantage if the nominee was Edwards, (just in case I didn't make that clear:) but Kerry will be easy for Bush to recast as a waffler on every issue just as he did in last night's speech. I really believe if Kerry's the Dem nominee, he's so weak in so many ways....it would downright frightening to give him the WH. It's really frustrating because Dems had a chance, if only they recognized the strongest candidate. Maybe a miracle will happen next Tues.
