Exactly which Palestinian groups are we at war with? Is the US at war with Palestinian suicide bombers in Israel? Is the US at war with Hamas?

Hi Nadine Carroll; Re: "On September 10, 2001 you would have been telling us ..."

Here's what you were telling us a few days after the attack:

Nadine Carroll, September 13, 2001
Skeets, Israel will benefit from this catastrophe, just as Britain benefited from Pearl Harbor 60 years ago. A line has been drawn between civilization and terrorism, and the Palestinians are left standing on the wrong side of it. Pictures of the Palestinians dancing in the streets (which Arafat is trying desperately to prevent getting out, even threatening the lives of the reporters) won't help their cause. #reply-16345943

It's clear that you care a lot more about the situation between the Israelis and Palestinians than about anything that happens to the US or our soldiers in Iraq.

By the way, I haven't seen Israel benefit any in the intervening 2 1/2 years. And the benefit that Britain received was only to avoid being crushed by the Germans. As far as remaining a world power, they did not survive the war. The best they can do now is to be a lap dog for the US, and even that has been rather unpleasant for them.

Maybe your analysis is right, in that Israel will eventually be forced into being a lap dog for the US. If I were Israeli, I would find that a rather worrying prospect.
