Oil consumption will go up faster then oil production over the long run, probably over the medium run, maybe over the short run. That means the price goes up and there is more incentives to reduce oil consumption and eventually oil consumption goes down.

I have "done the research". I disagree that it is so likely that we will hit the wall in 10 years. Or that it is certain that there will be a wall hit rather then a slowing of oil production increases followed eventually by a slow decline in oil production.
