live POW/MIA left behind in Vietnam. This is an area I have read a good bit on over the years. There are so many phonies trying to extract money from people to "rescue" them that it is very hard to figure out how many there were. I think there were some. I am also sure we will never know. It has been a great "conspiracy theory" subject. The Russians held some of our Korean war pilots and took them to Siberia, where they ended up living out their lives. I hope some day we get the full story on this.

Thanks for posting the Village Voice article excoriating Kerry on his MIA investigation. Wonder why the rest of the media has not touched the story? No second sources given the time that has elapsed? The obsession of someone following wisps of smoke? He has accused McCain of the same thing: aiipowmia.com The level of detail in the article you linked, however, is high. If half of what Schanberg says can be proven, Kerry has a very large problem. The author seems almost obsessed with the story.
