In the mid 1990s WIPRO sent tons of their software folks here to the US. Those folks earned US dollars (not as much as their US counterparts.). However their presence here was a boon to real estate folks, they paid into the tax system and the healthcare and thereby contributed to the Clinton prosperity years. But after Bush took office, all those monies fled, the coporations have started to pocket the taxes etc.

I had offers from the likes of Veritas etc. to help them establish offices in Pune etc. I declined based on my experience with the work ethics there. Shame on you, my fellow American if you volunteered to do so.

I have always heard that immigrants came in and took jobs away from Americans by volunteering to work for lesser wages. But never have I heard Americans taking the jobs away from their own birthland to countries abroad for selfish reasons over and above the geeral welfare of their countrymen. I left a country because I did not agree with their system. But I did not take their money and jobs away from them when them.

What patriotism are some of my American countrymen talking about? A bloody sham.
