Think Bush should have done something, anything, on 8-6-01 when he was warned of probable Al Qaida hijackings in the USA? Would you have if you'd been in his shoes lounging around Crawford on a long vacation after only 8 months on the job.

As Re...Don't forget, Bush was warned about 9-11 and did nothing.

In much the same way you were warned yesterday of problems in Kerry's past. Yet you, and the dems, seem intent on ignoring the problems and doing nothing. Why, because neither you, the Dems, or Bush then, had a lot of options. The warning to GW was vague, had no source, no name, no specific plot etc.; just a warning, much as a guy in the street, wearing a sign saying the end is near. There wasn't enough actionable intel, it do much.

The Germans gave the administration the first name of one of the hijackers and his cell phone number.
