Cheney was CEO of Halliburton. That's not a link? The energy papers Cheney is hiding from the publlic despite court orders show that when he came into power he had no qualms about spreading our wealth back to the energy companies that had helped he and GW get into office with their huge contributions and stealthy phony energy crisis gougings of California. That phony energy crisis threatened the Clinton-Gore economy and gave Bush-Cheney an economic issue. They stated that they as oil CEO types knew how to fix the problem. And they "fixed" it all right. Record-high energy prices every since, a massive ripoff and money/power shift to Texas from the rest of the country. What's good for Texas is always bad for the rest of us. That's especially true now.
