Kerry has been very well tested over the years and has matured into a man ready to be president. These new "outsiders" you never know about. Perot once led the field but turned out to be a bit of a nut case. Ditto Dean. I think the reason Kery is going to win is that people feel safe ande comfortable with him. They know he's responsible, and they don't believe the buile from the far right about Kerry 35 years ago. In fact, they like what they see 35 years ago, a Silver Star hero from Yale who could have avoided the war like GW and the others but didn't, then came back to try and end it. So Kerry's war years please both hawks and doves. That's why he's going to win, because he can legitimately lay claim to being both a true warrior and a real peace-maker. No one else can make that claim.
