Inflation is all-present. But disguised. My favorite restaurant has cut back at least 10% on the amount of mussels you get on the original menu at original price. Alan Greenmanure is advocating openly using deceptive measures of the CPI to cut down on inflation adjustments to entitlements and pensions. The copper gutters that just went onto my house were not soldered. They were calked, as aluminum gutters are. Leak and drip starting in about eight years.
