Jake, Kenneth would rather you pay more in taxes... the net effect is that the government has been irresponsible with our money, and his post highlights that fact.

His comment about being patriotic is simply stupid.

Jake, Greenspan is telling Congress right now that your Social Security benefits should be cut to help reduce the deficit. Not my benefits but your benefits. I'm sure you won't mind because you are patriotic and want to help your country.
