We need to raise taxes on the rich for two reasons: number one to help pay down Bush's deficits and for his war, number two to reward work in this country not idle wealth.

Spending needs to be cut PLUS taxes need to be raised on the rich and those who are getting off easy. Taxes need to be collected. In my parents era paying taxes was considered patriotic. We didn't win WWII by shirking out taxes and duty, we all had to pay back in those days.
