It is my understand the ban on Canadian drugs came about in order to placate a few Senators in the pocket of the Pharmaceutical industry to insure passage of a medicare prescription bill, which IN GENERAL I like. (I dont qualify for the gimmees BUT its reassuring to know I got CATASTROPHIC COVERAGE if ever it be necessary). I think the BEST policy of the Govt in this particular case is DONT ASK, DONT TELL. Frankly, the companies themselves are threatening Canadians with reduced supplies if they continue to feed the US market. jdn
