So you have moved the idle rich up... AS, you really need to think about these issues before you decide on numbers. You can see how easily it is to point out how stupid the $200,000 idle rich statement was...

Debt reduction requires either increased revenues or decreased spending. You simply focus on taxes. If you ran a corporation you would have a better understanding of the options.

The system is broken and by feeding it more money, it will not fix the problem,

If there is an idle rich class, they achieved it from work at sometime, investing intelligently, and protecting the principle after paying taxes. This money earned has been taxed again and again, it is never stopped from neing taxed. They give far more to charity than you will ever earn in your lifetime. You do not like them for some reason, but you have not thought out why...since you do not know them or what they do.
