SNDK is not in the NASDAQ 100. (not hard to check, not a real brain teaser here). I have quotes plus, and it doesn't tell me Sandisk is not in the NASDAQ 100

Gee, that was an insulting post. Gotta love those word salad double negatives. Perhaps you should tell the folks over at Nasdaq they made a mistake in their table.

I would have given you the same answer. You need to put the word in context. And I don't believe it was Sam who mentioned it in the first place, so why are you jumping all over him? Relax.

Sheesh.

"What he was talking about PRICE DECLINE. The PRICE DECLINE is expected to be 40% annually and "backend loaded." (more decline in the second half of the year)"

Well, thanks for listening to the webcast, I didn't.

"Do you just make this up as you go along?"
No, the normal meaning "backloaded" is... more business at the end of the period to which one is referring. In the disk drive business, for example, most quarters are backloaded--more orders in the last couple of weeks than any other time. In this case, I guess, from what you say, he meant something similar--but instead of "more business," "more price declines." Which is what he said in the CC a month ago.

And no, I didn't get into the NAS100 discussion.

But nevermind. Apologies for cluttering the board with this message.
