Haitians are in general damn good workers, (thats why the Bahamian govt has OUTLAWED them from washing ashore) but they are ill suited for a high tech environment. As to Haiti itself, its my belief that their 1/2 of the island is just too small, with too few resources to support the population and any wealth in the past was SUCKED OFF by the Duvlier govts of Papa Doc and Baby Doc. It should be handled by the UN as a BASKET CASE cause thats just what it is. jdn
