Ted Re...Yes, they did. If they did not, they would have been committing political suicide. Which proves tax cuts are more politically popular, than your tax increases. Can't you understand the connection. Mondale=tax increases= history. Reagon = tax cuts = in history books. The evidence is sketchy at best. Three years and we continue to wallow between recession and expansion. Oh Jeez, it not like it hasn't worked before. As in 62 after Kennedy's tax cuts,, and in 83 after Reagon's tax cuts. It is true, that there are other alternatives, but tax cuts have been shown to work. Excuse me........who did you say was gorging on pork? The dems have a well earned reputation in that area, through countless yrs of tax and spend proposals, and rep. bashing. Gw only did it lately, because of the recession.
