It is clear that kerry made some mistakes during that period. I have asked the same question as the author about what one's responsibility is if you witness gang rape of little girls? And this article claims he participated in some war crimes and he says he was just following orders. Very disturbing stuff indeed. But i forgive him for all of it as i forgive all of us equally who were alive then and caught up in the war/anti war, serve/resist thing that was going on. You just had to be there and i am sure i said things as well that i would regret now. And things said were not always true.
Will KErry be an appeasement president to our enemies now is all i want to know. He got the nomination wrapped up and give the dislike of bush, kerry has a fair chance to win. I just hope he has learned from his mistakes, all of his mistakes and can be a tough leader going forward if elected. Mike

Since Kerry’s comrades seem so eager to judge President Bush’s character by whether or not he fulfilled a handful of National Guard obligations, the door may already have been opened to attacks on the Democratic front runner’s own conduct from those days.

Voters could have plenty of versions of Kerry from which to choose: the communist sympathizer who gleefully defamed America and millions of American soldiers, the war hero too cowardly to throw away his own medals, or the anti-war activist who was so eager to claim he had committed war crimes.

w,
Man you can dig. Nice work.
I told ya, there is a lot out there and we ain't seen nothing yet.
I predict Godfather T. Kennedy will wish he disowned his Godson Kerry before this is over.
