It looks like a head and shoulders to me. Bill has it right this time. This sell off looks scarily like the start of previous sell offs in the bear market 2000 to 2003. Fundamentals are much better now though valuations may have gotten ahead of themselves.
The record trade deficit was expected because oil is high. The low inventories are a positive sign of economic growth. This could be just the funds using the opportunity to close out options. Given that I expect we will go only somewhat lower then reverse. We will probably see a volume spike at the reverse.
