JS,
I'll concede that jobs might be mysteriously waiting on the horizon & have been delayed for some unknown reason beyond the usual business cycle. My 2nd priority in choosing a Pres in Nov will be his stance on illegal immigrants. It's outrageous for Pres Bush to do nothing about our porous borders. We need better technology more guards in order to maintain some control of who & what is entering illegally. Both parties refuse to address the crisis. It's obvious Bush does nothing because large portion of his voting base is illegally employing the invaders at extremely low wages. Dems don't want to anger the Spanish community since that's a large segment of their base. Voters will just have to blast their local congress members & make it clear that the majority of Americans want secure borders & a halt to the flood of illegals who have become a burden on taxpayers. They're often accompanied by convicted Mexican criminals & drug pushers. What can Bush do in next 8mos to gain votes by addressing this important issue?
